Impressionist Painting Demonstrations

Shelby is an artist who is unafraid to paint in front of people and is inspired by an audience. She has been in demand for her talents as a demonstrator, educator and performance artist for artists' groups and special events requiring interesting art-flavored entertainment. If your event requires entertainment and the usual music isn't quite enough to make an impression on your guests, consider hiring Shelby to paint along with, and to the music of your hired musicians--and then keep the painting as a fund-raising item if applicable.

Shelby also facilitates day-long workshops and is available for artist groups, adult students, or other organizations who are interested in hands-on artmaking events. The workshops can concentrate on oils, acrylic painting, or her special watercolor/marker illustration techniques. Fees:

Classes: $100 per day per student (usually 10 am-4:00 pm) 

Demos for Education: Non-profit organizations, $150 for 2 hours 

Demos for Entertainment/Performance Art: $500 with a limit of 2 hours duration plus mileage (outside Milwaukee Metro area). Out of local area, travel arrangements will need to be made and paid for by those requesting the performance. If you keep the painting (approximately 30” X 30”), price ranges from $1200-1500.
You may request general subject matter for the performance painting.

2011 Artist in Residence for the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee Wisconsin
In its third year, The Pfister Hotel's Artist-in-Residence program features a working art studio and gallery that is open to hotel guests and visitors. The program encourages the public to interact with the artist and witness the evolution of each piece first-hand.
