Have you been told it's not possible to make good paintings from photographs? It actually IS possible, with a little imagination and a bit of exaggeration! You can take your less-than-interesting images and use them as a jumping-off point for creating amazing and colorfully expressive works of art. It's true that painting from life, en plein air, teaches you irreplaceable skill sets, but you can bring your plein air wisdom into the studio to make your photographic references become impressive and freshly rendered paintings!
